July 2022 Charity

Welcome to Critteraid Animal Sanctuary & Charity Thrift Shoppe in the heart of the South Okanagan, British Columbia.

Our animal rescue sanctuary and thrift store are 100% run by amazing volunteers and generous donations to help our mission of caring for our animal rescues.

We are more than just a shelter or animal rescue facility, we are also an educational facility that invites people to learn about our animals in a way that will change their perspective about themselves and the world around them.

Our origins began with cat rescue over 30 years ago and since then we have provided shelter, medical care, healing, and love to thousands of cats and various farm animals of all kinds.  We call ourselves an animal sanctuary, but we’re just as much a people sanctuary. Humans often find great solace, connection, and purpose when they are in service of helping others.
